I was born in Mexico City on October 8, 1986.
I began my career as a music composer for audiovisual media before I turned twenty, collaborating with cinema director Rafael Montero, with whom I worked on movies such as Fachon Models and Parallel Roads, which were on the National Top Ten list during their commercial runs in theaters.
I also composed the music for The Tears, directed by independent filmmaker Pablo Delgado. This movie won awards in renowned international festivals such as the Locarno Film Festival and the International Film Festival Rotterdam.
Additionally, I have composed music for various documentaries and short films, some of which have been screened and awarded internationally. Complementary to my cinematographic career, I have composed music for advertising, having worked with international companies like Nissan, Toyota, Nestlé, Coca-Cola, and Save The Children.
In 2012, I was elected for the 3rd Film Music Lab, organized by Bertha Navarro, producer of Guillermo del Toro’s Pan’s Labyrinth, where I had composer Michael Nyman (The Piano) as one of my mentors.
I studied musical composition at the Centro de Investigación y Estudios de la Música (CIEM), where Doctor María Antonieta Lozano, one of the most important developers of music teaching in Mexico, was my harmony professor.
Being proficient in playing the piano, guitar, and a variety of plucked string instruments, my journey into composing instrumental pieces began at the age of fourteen with the guitar.
